Windows 10 is now becoming more familiar and productive.
It was hard for people to leave that comfy Windows 7. After not so good Windows 8 Microsoft with Windows 10 made sure that everyone liked it.
There were few problems people faced when they upgraded to Windows 10 but now most of the major problems are solved and they are releasing New Updates frequently making it more and more User Friendly and Bug free creating an environment for everyone to be productive.
There is an Insider Program that Microsoft runs to get new ideas and get help of developers around the world to make Windows 10 the perfect OS. Everyone who joined the program gets to test Windows 10 Updates before Microsoft releases them to public.
In the most recent Insider Preview of Windows 10 they revealed a new feature which one can relate to as an Old Feature they had which made it possible to keep a Windows always open (Maybe it is still there) . This is like Compact Floating Windows on your screen which will always stay on top of all your Windows .
This can useful in many aspects and there is no harm in adding a new feature so it is a Win - Win moment for every Windows 10 User.
People are comparing this to 'Picture in Picture' on iOS and Operating Systems . As I remember Samsung had this or even have this feature for the built in apps that one can make them float over other Apps. I tried this a long time ago on a Samsung Device with their video App and guess what ? It worked fine .
This is obviously not a new feature or innovation but this is Microsoft bringing their old feature back to life with better UI design. Apple Hypes too much about these kind of features.
Just for Science I checked with VLC Media player because I knew that VLC media player had this kind of features and so do many other applications.
One can make the video they are watching to be overlayed on their Desktop Wallpaper and also users can select always on top under View menu to make VLC media player Window to stay on top.
Do you know any other application that already have these feature ? Comment down below !
